Scimedico, LLC has completed an HVAC renovation and related equipment installation for the Pathology and Histology Department Laboratory at the Veteran's Administration Augusta Maine. The project at the Veterans Administration Augusta Maine Hospital location involved the renovation of the laboratory HVAC in order to provide sufficient ventilation to support the new equipment.

This project involved the renovation of the laboratory HVAC in order to provide sufficient ventilation to support the new equipment. Scimedico first conducted a site study and related report regarding the required HVAC. The Scimedico team then specified the required ventilation equipment and managed the planning surrounding the installation. The final step was the installation itself.
The installation of new ventilation requires a detailed study of the HVAC runs between the equipment installation location and the related mechanical room. Scimedico completed this process in partnership with faciilty engineering and a local mechanical contractor.

Once the HVAC renovation was complete, Scimedico completed the equipment installation which included a new grossing station from Mopec.
"We are honored to have been selected for this project by the Veteran's Administration Health Administration," explained Scimedico CEO Miguel Bermeo. "It is an honor to work with any VA location. We are fortunate to work throughout the VA system."
