LAB MONITORING
How does formalin monitoring work?
Scimedico monitors are installed in the lab and monitor formalin, xylene, and other hazardous VOCs 24/7. Readings are in Parts Per Million and relate to OSHA regulatory safety standards.
How is lab monitoring reported?
Reporting is based on customer requirements. Frequency can be at any predefined interval.
How is lab management notified if there is a hazardous situation?
Scimedico is monitoring 24/7 and if there is a hazardous situation we will send a hard warning to lab management.

Does badge testing by Scimedico meet our regulatory requirements?
Yes, Scimedico badge testing in Pathology meets regulatory requirements and meets up coming regulations regarding the requirements for third party testing.
What are the badge testing options offered by Scimedico?
Scimedico provides options for annual, bi annual, or increased frequency tests based on customer requirements.
FILTER MANAGEMENT
How does this solution work?
The service provides your lab with a single source for contracted filter management. Scimedico manages the filter replacement process for your lab. The service includes options for filter changes, inventory management, and related reporting.
Does my department change the filters?
Customers can select to change filters themselves or this can be included in the scope of service - no matter who is changing the filters, frequency of change should determined through testing and based on the customer's unit lab throughput.

What does Chemical Management mean?
Within the lab the dispensing and disposal of chemicals is a constant. In Pathology, Scimedico can provide equipment and services to address this requirement safely and efficiently.
